A SACRED TRIP TO GREECE FOR WOMEN

with Charoula Dontopoulos and Donna Henes
September 24 - October 8, 2005

The Goddess consciousness, buried for millennia in the depths of our being, is alive and well and waiting for us in Greece!

This will be a journey of reconnecting with the Sacred Feminine within each of us, re-membering ourselves as we once were -- priestesses, worshippers, and initiates.

Come join us for an unforgettable experience.
Come enjoy the rebirth of the mysteries.
Come frolic in the olive groves.
Come breathe in the salty sea air.
Come home to Greece and the Goddess.

THE GUIDES

Charoula Dontopoulos, our leader and guide to the Goddess, is a born-and-raised Greek, a scholar and a lover of the Goddess for many years. She will share with us her intimate knowledge of Greece, the Greek language, the Greek people, and especially the Greek Goddesses. In addition, she will open her lovely house on the island of Aegina to us. She has traveled extensively to Goddess sites in Turkey, Egypt, England, Malta and, of course, Greece where she has led four other sacred journeys.

Donna Henes, another passionate lover of the Goddess and Her Mysteries, will be our ritualist. Mama Donna, as she is affectionately known, will help us experience the Goddess within us in the Goddess's very own setting. She is the author of The Queen of My Self (Avalon), Moon Watcher's Companion (Avalon), and Celestially Auspicious Occasions (Putnam) and has 30 + years of experience creating ritual. She is the director of Mama Donna's Tea Garden & Healing Haven, a ceremonial space, ritual consultancy, and spirit shop in Exotic Brooklyn, New York.
